Primal Play offers you the opportunity to experience a non-verbal dialogue, an emotionally & physically connected movement meditation where there is no agenda, no expectation of “performing” in any particular way, and no commitment beyond the container of the play space. Its a “brave space” and relational playground for conscious exploration of what emerges in the space between us in the present moment.
Primal Play can lead you into a depth of present-moment awareness where the strategies of the future-oriented mind fall away. When you allow the somatic dialogue between the animal bodies to be felt and expressed you can simply let go and see what energy wants to move through. It might be wild and energetic or incredibly tender and still.
Primal play is an opportunity to "stay relational" and learn how to "trust yourself among others" while attuned in our human co-creative power: to taste the paradoxical place of wild abandonment which is also innately aware of the needs of yourself and the other. Re-write the story of personal power: learn to dance with and trust this force - the force of life’s energy into or out of contact but always leading to deeper connection in the field of love.

This playshop is open for singles, couples and those in alternative relationships (open, poly, etc).
Is this a place to connect with new folks or deepen connections with current lovers?
Both. If you come with your partner you are welcome to partner together for some or all of the exercises.
What if I don’t want to participate in an exercise or practice during the workshop?
You will not be required to do anything. Everything is an invitation to consider; all activities are optional. Your full consent is the only requirement for your interactions with others.
